I just went through two huge bags of Purina Complete and Benefical. They disliked it, I add to add either gravy or beef broth to the dry dog food in order for them to eat it. Anyone have a good name brand do food that my dogs will like? I have one German Shepard, a terrier and 3 chihuahuas.

I make my dog pork chops, liver and ground turkey and it is cheaper than some dog food. she will eat those little containers of cesar but since she is a huskie, that is just a snack.

It would seem the big fellow would need the larger kibble and the little ones smaller kibble..unless it is moist kibble. Anyway, not pushing Natures Recipe, but it is a good food without being too rich. No grains. Available @Petco or Petsmart.

Too much protein. Vet recommended Hill's Science Diet. My dog has been great since then.

No dandruff either. It's the Dick Van Patten brand. But, by far the most important factor is: NO GRAINS! Did I mention dogs shouldn't be eating grains? I am ashamed I didn't figure this out sooner.

Fromm is considered comparable to Orijen and Acana and for a slightly lower price. For some reason I couldn't get my dog to eat Fromm, but it does seem to be a great value.
