Need good name brand dog food
My dog won't eat Purina anymore. I just went through two huge bags of Purina Complete and Benefical. They disliked it, I add to add either gravy or beef broth to the dry dog food in order for them to eat it.

Anyone have a good name brand do food that my dogs will like?

I have one German Shepard, a terrier and 3 chihuahuas.

Nature's Recipe is pretty good.
I don't like the small breed kernel size, but the adult,
large breed size is perfect for Shepard.

all the dog foods are loaded with crap and poison. I make my dog pork chops, liver and ground turkey and it is cheaper than some dog food. she will eat those little containers of cesar but since she is a huskie, that is just a snack.

I just bought that one as well except this brand has tender chewy chunks and strange, my dogs liked this brand before.

I need to purchase the "moist chewy chunks"

My dog is very picky and eats our leftovers from dinner. The only dry dog food I can get her to eat is IAMS simple and natural.

Op, do you feed all your dogs the same size kibble?

It would seem the big fellow would need the larger
kibble and the little ones smaller kibble..unless it
is moist kibble.

Anyway, not pushing Natures Recipe, but it is a good
food without being too rich. No grains.
Available @Petco or Petsmart.

Yes I do and he eats twice as much, he stays outside wit the terrier. The 3 chihuahuas live inside the house.

Royal Canine. It has breed specific kinds. I have a Chihuahua right now and that's what she eats plus Rotissiere chicken. PEt store or Amazon if you have free shipping.

Blue Buffalo sent my dog to the vet with kidney issues. Too much protein.

Vet recommended Hill's Science Diet. My dog has been great since then.

Two words:

NO GRAINS!

Switched my dogs to the Natural Balance Limited Ingredients and their coats are now amazingly soft. No dandruff either.
It's the Dick Van Patten brand.

But, by far the most important factor is: NO GRAINS!

Did I mention dogs shouldn't be eating grains? I am ashamed I didn't figure this out sooner.

This poster knows what they are talking about. Fromm is considered comparable to Orijen and Acana and for a slightly lower price. For some reason I couldn't get my dog to eat Fromm, but it does seem to be a great value.
