Not saying that this is the case here but why did 'FBI sting' enter my theory of why this guy turned at the age of 30? Too old to be naive. Usually takes about a week for all the info to come in so I'm not going to try and 'solve it' before that time limit is up.
From his look in the pic with the bandana and holding a gun he looks like he has been dressed up by somebody else and he is sure looking at the picture taker. His eyes look more like he is question if he should be letting his pic even be taken let alone somebody who is going to go toe-to-toe against the Ottawa Police Forces.
