You say poverty is poverty but discount the much lower crime rate in truly poor countries. You haven't explained why the negro crime rate was much lower before desegregation when negroes were much more poor. There are plenty of relatively 'poor' White people in European countries but they don't commit the rate of crime that negroes do here. There are poor Whites and rich negroes in So. Africa now but the Whites aren't committing crime at high rates(if at all) against those rich negroes.

I live next to Detroit btw and did live in the D for 10 years ( and I am white) and saw more than my share of shootings, dead bodies laying in fields, etc...
