Hollywood thinks that all the stories have been told. Your story is less important than the mechanism of the story. What I mean is a typical boy meets girl, falls in love, overcomes obstacles and happy ending is the story but that won't get it sold. You have to place that story in a unique place to make it interesting to Hollywood. Hope that makes sense. The Honey Boo Boo type shows are just cheap to make and play on people's sense of perversion and ego. Remember, most Americans can't name the 50 states or tell you who their senator is.

My advice is fund the movie using crowd sourcing. If it's good it can be Made. Then get distribution on Netflix and the other streaming services. You don't have much of a shot in Hollywood. You will make more money doing it yourself. Don't get me wrong, hire pros like directors, producers and the like but Hollywood has literally thousands of insiders trying to get movies made. You're an outsider and that's not a good place to be.

FEMA camps, federal conspiracy is completely off limits.

I was shocked to hear a number of experiences a friend of mine had with Occupy Wall Street that never made it on any media whatsoever . . . specifically protests that were quelled by international military in Chicago, as well as in St. Louis, etc.

Yes there is tons of shocking crap. Most of it is egomaniacs acting like gods. These people can't have the masses see them as they really are....spoiled adults acting like spoiled kids. I was just being honest and it is a contradiction. The Feds pay more attention to what people are saying on Facebook than the stories that are covered on your local news. At the national level there is certainly an attempt to control the message for political reasons. On the local level it's not a serious threat because the stations don't go to deep and if they do no one cares.
