They feed off of your energy and emotions.

I've found that the best thing to do is STFU.

Tell NO-ONE about your hopes, dreams and plans, and just go ahead with them.

NO-ONE especially means your mother, and sister.

You are probably an empath, like me. I attract emotional vampires like bees to honey. It took me many years how to say NO and to just not give a damn anymore. Stop feeding them, and they will find another host. You don't have to be a martyr for anyone unless you want to be.

Where I live, I have no friends. People here are very obsessed with money. You are now seeing the wheat being separated from the chaff. Some people can not handle others going for and obtaining their dream. The lost stumble everyday over easy stuff(jealousy,animosity and greed)to name a few.

Truth, a good job with good people is very hard to find!

I learned this a long time ago, I am lucky to have a close friend, and a daughter who are not this way. I am like honey to bees with them as well. I just stopped working for a really bad one. I will live in a box before I will let these people suck the life out of me.

It can be tough, of course you want to share your hopes and dreams with your loved ones. They have dreams for you too.
I guess it really depends on the person. Choose wisely who you confide in

-THIS. I have decided the same thing. I had to come to the conclusion that there are some people who I just will not allow to rule or even have influence in my life or general peace of mind. It is really quite liberating when you learn how to just not care anymore. I'll work the drive through window at McDonalds before I allow someone to make me their whipping post. Just ain't happenin.

Yeah, it is true, they suck the life out of you! I seem to attract them.

I've found that cutting off and retreating from people who are trapped in the ego/matrix and are completely unaware of the greater reality they are subject to is the best way to "cleanse" your self.

these people are most likely close friends you've known for a long and time and on the surface care about you and your ideas/dreams but because they have no real spiritual/conscious connection to source/higher-self/spirit/whatever, on an unconscious level they want nothing but your downfall and complete destruction.

So in order to really avoid these people you have to learn more about someone than they know about themselves and unfortunately this leads to a very isolated life. However, it's in isolation that some will find parts of themselves previously unknown making your dreams easier to attain.

every thing in my life has been ruined because of these people. so i need to keep them out

all they can provide you with is suffering and a mess to clean up after what they do. and a shattered image due to the fake rumors they spread after they victimize you. they make you look like your crazy

Watch your own emotions. If they are also negative and toxic it it also felt by others. You could make sure that you are loving towards yourself and others no matter what they may say or do so they would stop the behavior that is so offending.

Not true all the time. You can give someone all the love, support and acceptance in the world and theyll still try to destroy you. Sometimes even more so. They hate what they aren't.
