So the last time this specific plane flew, these were its destinations.

Cartersville to Bermuda - left home base
Bermuda to Dakar - refueling
Dakar to London - no flight plan (surprise!)
London to Bangor - refueling
Bangor to Cartersville - to the bar for a drink

They actually have two jets that do this kind of service. This article says that they hired this company for 6 months at a cost of $5 million under contract. That doesn't count each individual flight it takes.

"While it was once at the beck and call of the CDC under a previous contract, the company recently had to be hired back by the State Department this year at a cost of nearly $5 million for a six-month sole-source contract."

If you scroll down here, [link to foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com] you'll see where the door on the side of the plane is open and you see a bed in there. That plane doesn't have a bio-containment room like the plane N163PA does.

What is disturbing about this, the 1st doctor to be flown back from Liberia who had ebola used the plane N173PA! So they probably had to clean and build a containment room.

I presume they are going to pick someone up and bring them back here as the first "native african" to be brought back for "treatment" in the US. Certainly to be used to gin up sympathy and compassion here in the states as a precursor for bringing in ?hundreds? ?thousands? more.

I hope people understand there is no treatment for ebola. Doctors simply try to manage/minimize the symptoms.
