Re: Florida. Amendment 2 did not pass. No medical Marijuana for the Sunshine state.
It's a shame Florida didn't pass medical marijuana, it would have helped shield the state from the collapse of the student loan bubble. Would have helped a lot with taxes and jobs. Too many pharisee Zionist would condemn marijuana while stepping over a dying hungry person. (My reference to the police in Florida arresting people feeding the homeless.)

When you arrest those that feed the homeless, and turn around to attack the repercussions of marijuana use, you have a problem.

The reelection of Rick Scott is good for the extremely wealthy but bad for average folks, this is coming from someone who does NOT like Charlie Crist.

Feel bad for fellow Floridians, and the future of the state if the pharisee attitude continues.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64834622

I'm not fond of either Crist or Scott, but again, it's the lesser of two evils, so to speak.
 Quoting: Ms. Superduper

I see them as almost equal, but I will conceded if its 51%/49% evil, Scott MAY be the lesser of the two evils. I also had a divided view on medical marijuana on the ballot, I think it would have helped the stage economy a lot, but I also completely understand parents voting no (I'm a college aged male, so my views are probably a bit different) to keep it out of neighborhoods, ect. I just don't know if we should have passed on the economy boost with what seems like an incoming bubble burst.

What really really ticks me off though is police arresting people feeding the homeless (which is only the police doing their job), but the mayor's comments on the matter is what sets me off.

Well, maybe Rick Scott will find another way to steal 1.7 Billion from the Federal Government and I can get a little!!

[link to www.politifact.com]

• Columbia billed Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs for tests that were not necessary or had not been ordered by physicians;

• The company attached false diagnosis codes to patient records to increase reimbursement to the hospitals;

• The company illegally claimed non-reimbursable marketing and advertising costs as community education;

• Columbia billed the government for home health care visits for patients who did not qualify to receive them.

The government settled a second series of similar claims with Columbia/HCA in 2002 for an additional $881 million. The total for the two fines was $1.7 billion.

Thread: Has anyone experienced this? Prolonged drug induced delusions.

I don't know if anyone here can relate to the delusional thoughts of a madman but every so often I have the most bizarre ideas and fantasies.

Once, back when I was in my active addiction, I smoked a joint that I'm pretty sure was laced with something, perhaps PCP, and became convinced that everyone in my family and my immediate surrounding were govt/mil operatives and that I was genetically modified or designed and my mother was actually a surrogate and my dad was a government stooge who would report my developmental progress to his handlers.

I saw a conspiracy unfold all around me, that most buildings, warehouses even stores were all a front for govt/mil based experiments or that there were hidden operations being carried out. There was also something sinister about colors on logos and signs around the city that designated certain functions of those corporations or places.

Everything around me, electrical frequencies and signals were capable of recording and transmitting my words back to some unseen listener who could then communicate back to me. I was receiving messages through television and radio broadcasts that were speaking directly to me about things going on in my personal life.

I noticed an intricate system of gangstalkers and watchers the activity of which began to intensify rapidly around that time. People would walk past me and mutter messages and phrases back to me, things I had said online or to someone else in a private conversation, I suppose in an attempt to tell me that they were listening.

This all went on for several weeks after one joint, I don't know what the hell it was that I smoked but it screwed my head up really bad. I'm just making this post because these things have been on my mind again lately and I'm trying to make sense of everything.

Drugs are bad, mkay? Lol!

The amendment lost because the opponents got on the radio and lied there rear ends off about how everyone would be smoking pot.

The damn amendment had many onerous hoops that the patient and doctor had to jump through just to get approved.

My next door neighbor is legally blind. She smokes pot illegally to keep from going totally blind due to the pressure build up in her eyes. Now she'll have to continue being illegal!

No, the FDA-brand drug doesn't work as well.

Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved.

Yup.. because that's what it takes to be a constitutional amendment....they should have just voted it into law and it was a done deal. Very unfortunate
