In that time, he established the Astrobiology Research Group at the NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center, and became internationally known for his research on microfossils in meteorites. Hoover has published many papers in which he asserts the discovery of extraterrestrial life in meteorites.

Hoover no longer works for NASA, but he continues his controversial research and is currently an astrobiologist at Athens State University and a visiting research professor with the Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham. Speigel asked Hoover to explain what it is that convinces him that life is not restricted to Earth. Hoover responded, "I am absolutely convinced that life is not restricted to the planet Earth because I have found the remains of lifeforms that are absolutely, conclusively extraterrestrial."

I'm not saying it didn't or doesn't, I'm simply trying to champion rational comprehension of speech.

I think there is both bacterial and plant life on Mars. The information is simply repressed, they have it. It is kept hidden so that funding is not cut to the many mission still in the planning stages. Many of these scientists and engineers have dedicated their entire careers to the missions still in planning and/or scheduled (and funded) to go in the coming years.

Slow your horses there. Dont get ahead of yourself.

Good to know. I am considering moving off planet and pioneering a small self-sustaining community up there.
