Iran: threat of lashes or fine for walking the dog

If only they would ban cats, we would see the rats and mice bring plague too these evil people.

It's a good thing I don't live in Iran where they have such laws. It's a better thing that I don't live in Israel where the Hareti pick the wife of young men; believe that they are the chosen people AND where non-sectarian (secular) jews pass ethnocentric and draconian laws while bombing innocent civilians in Gaza. It's all rather diabolical isn't it?

I like most dogs. I like my dog. I don't like it that there are many people who don't clean up after their dog. I don't know why religion has to get in the way of whether someone likes to have a dog. Yes there are breeds that aren't people friendly and some people don't treat the dogs right and those dogs cause problems. But then there are people who aren't friendly, don't treat other right and cause problems. Just as there are people who don't control breeding of dogs there are people who don't control themselves.

I knew some people a long time ago that had monkeys before they banned selling them. They can be dangerous and there is a problem of diseases because of similar genetic makeup to humans. But then there are dangerous people and those who don't take care of themselves and sometimes knowingly spread diseases.

Maybe they should ban humans in Iran.

Another clear example of why fundamentalism is the enemy. Anybody's fundamentalism. Dogs, in general, are wonderful, loyal, pack oriented creatures. People, in general, are morons.

So what's more barbaric.

Making it illegal for people to own dogs and cats as pets, or that.

I think 'certain people' just like to latch onto issues like this as an excuse to hate on other people.

If it wasn't this, today, it would just be something else.

And tomorrow, it will be.

I am able to love people and animals.
My pet, a cat, the first time I met her was 20.000 years ago.
She was sort of a Siberian snow tiger back then.
People can have real connections to pets.
Please don't start about people wanting to have sex with their pets, just kill them.
