Bigfoot shot in Canada!

I just talked to my sister in law who's on the Pine Ridge Reservation. She said that last Tuesday night supposedly someone shot and killed a bigfoot near the Slim Buttes area. THis is basically insider gossip, as there is no way to verify it. But, she said that several medicine men including Wilmer Mesteth, Oliver Red Cloud and Tom(?) Janis were called over there by the police to the site, and they smudged the body with burning sage and cedar, and said prayers. (The lakota see the bigfoot as a sort of spirit being, and are scared of it.) Anyway, then it was wrapped up and taken to the lab at the School of Mines in Rapid City. All kind of hush hush, but this is the inside gossip. I have no way to verify it, but my sister in law has never lied to me. She said she doesn't know if it's true as she hasn't spoken to anyone who actually saw it. But I just thought you would be interested to hear the rumors.  |

If BigFoot was shot two things would have happend already...
FIRST the Smithsonian Institute would have flown all the experts in and covered up any trace of the creature...
SECOND you or I would never have heard of BigFoot being shot! |

If BigFoot was shot two things would have happend already...
FIRST the Smithsonian Institute would have flown all the experts in and covered up any trace of the creature...

Well, yes, it does seem a tad bit on the gossipy side, and I guess I could have kept it to myself.
But I did hear about it exactly as I reported it.
And if something like that actually did happen, of course it would be hushed up. Only through a friend-of-a-friend would you hear about it, right? So I'm just telling you what I heard.
And Aaron, you don't have a whole lot of room to be raising the bs flag, do you? lol 
Anyway, y'all can just keep on going, as far as I could care. This is a conspiracy website, you know....

If it is true, then what an asshole for shooting it. Could not just take a picture and be happy with the experience. They had to kill it for a grand 15 minutes in the limelight.

Sorry to hear a Sasquatch died, but it doesn't surprise me that it would happen on a Rez. The Indians don't go bragging about things like others do!
I believe the guy in Canada that shot one when he was 17.
