Alright yeah I can get behind that. The cops method of shoot first ask questions later is only reinforced by other rules such as the "clip dump" where they are encouraged to empty the magazine into the suspect so that they don't survive and won't sue the department. That's all fine and dandy but not when those wonderful tasers and batons purchased with tax other dollars being passed up as a viable option.

Id be interested to find out more about this guys service in the Marine Corps. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a dishonorable discharge or some form of administrative punishment. Probably butt hurt he never got to deploy and was a desk jockey.

The worst part is there are cops like this walking around by the thousands arresting and incarcerating people who may have just given them attitude. I live very close to where this happened and have had quite an experience with the Saratoga Springs city court in which the judge was found be levying fraudulent charges - it was pretty well known. In my case, it was a bogus stop which led to a bogus ticket. I fought it and won but this judge screwed so many people over. Not too surprised to see it all trickle down to the cops.
