T For Texas, T For Tennessee! The virtue of courage is a prerequisite for the practice of all other virtues, because otherwise one is virtuous only when virtue has no cost. There are times when something needs to be done, and yet we know that if we step up and do this needful thing, we will pay a heavy personal price. -C.S. Lewis |

Quoting: Xannixon People obsessively raking leaves on a daily basis. I let mine lay where they fall. Its nature, its fertilizer. I think it is some sort of mind control that make people think this is important enough to waste hours a week doing it. Do people in other countries get this nutty about leaves? for some reason, I can't seem to "leaves" them alone...lol |

It really makes no sense to fight against Mother Nature. She wants the leaves to go back into the earth to propagate new generations of life. And the American Way is to use an ear-splitting leaf blower to prevent this fertilization from taking place?? This is why I would rather live in Europe. |
