1-I'm afraid no fighter would engage a target side on. They want the maximum IR signature which is from behind.

2- Air to Air missile take a few second to arm after launch and that fight is appr0x 500 metres from the target. Way to close.

A US spy satellite was snapping the exact location at the time, if a buk missile took down the plane (who knows maybe it did, maybe these are doctored images) they have the photos of it and could instantly prove their case, but theyre not... They have voice recordings from the cockpit they could release to back up their claim...theyre not doing that either.
