If Jack Ryan doesn't turn out to be a world class pervert, Jeri Ryan doesn't divorce him. Those records do not get sealed, and David Axelrod can't leak them to the press. Therefore Obama never even becomes a Senator, much less a President, without the help of Jack Ryan.
