resident Obama said Sunday that world leaders agree Russian President Vladimir Putin isn’t following the “letter or the spirit” of his commitment to peaceful actions in Ukraine but that the sanctions currently in place against his regime are “biting plenty good.”.

After a closed-door meeting with European leaders on the subject, Obama said the current level of isolation of Russia will continue as long as the country violates the principle that “you don’t invade other countries or finance proxies” who do.

I say give Obama some credit for the sanctions, which are biting Putin good.

But, the Russia/Ukraine issue................ tell mo how the US has anything to say that is credible when it only goes into countries and kicks the shit out of them when it is in the US's "best interest". Has nothing to do with US security, just political clout and monetary/oil issues.
