Beans, canned goods, etc. Every time we go grocery shopping we pick up a few extra things. I would really like to start canning a little as well. Also would like to grab a bulk supply of freeze dried food but available money goes towards bills and everyday life lol. We have been refilling water/juice bottles with tap water and storing them. Flouridated water is better than no water lol. We also have a swimming pool that we can utilize water from. We can filter it if need be as well. Because we are a family, we plan on sheltering in place until we MUST leave. I occasionally go on week long backpacking trips and have scouted some very promising bug out locations. I don't go for the sole purpose of scouting bug out locations lol, it's just an added thing I look for when I'm out in the wild enjoying nature. I can only hope that in the case that we would have to leave our home, that our vehicles wouldn't be disabled by an EMP. If we had to leave on foot (have wife and two younger girls) that would be a pretty terrifying situation. there's only so much you can take with you ya know? Even if the vehicles work, congested traffic would be another matter. It would be a real bummer to load up all ones gear only to hit the road and find yourself in gridlock...or maybe bandits with a road block looking to take what you have. How bout you? Have you been prepping? Do you plan on sheltering in place or bugging out? Where are you located? |

Truthfully, I have a tradeable product of unprecedented value in an apocalypse, lol I just was wanting to meet preppers so they have access to this miracle mud :) Your garden variety Illuminati Princess~ |
