By federal law ( 10 U.S.C., 505 ), the minimum age for enlistment in the United States Military is 17 (with parental consent) and 18 (without parental consent). The maximum age is 35. Quoting: Boris the Cat shit outta luck for the marines, maybe try one of the lesser branches, like air force or coast guard Watch it Boris you are cruising . . . i speak from experience on the childhood asthma and trying to enlist in the marines, was underweight too, they said they would fix that Me too but that was back when any form of it was an automatic disqualification. Things are a little bit looser now and I believe there looking for treatment after age 13. Anything like that and they will disqualify and may if its there and you don't test well. I had excellent test scores but back then there really just wasn't any way to work around it. I would qualify by today's standards though. ya, me too, high score, etc. they suggested the lower standard services. but i never tried, wanted to be a marine |
