That's rather arrogant. I grew up in Washington State, just outside of Seattle area. That was nearly forty years now, but I still have great memories. Good people. I still have a Social Insurance number that was given to me when I was a kid. From what I can tell it's pretty tough for a Canadian to live in the U.S. You either have to get a work permit from someone who want to hire you and can't find any locals who can do the work. You can also marry an American. Or you can buy a business that is valued at at least a half a million dollars and employees at least ten people.

Now, with an Amnesty that might make things interesting....

My son is married to a Ukrainian woman....they managed to get her son here on a visa and he never went back.....that was over 10 yeas ago....he fits all the criteria....will he be eligible......he now has his own children born here....it will be interesting to see
