As with Israel in Jeremiah's day, God's Judgment on America has been happening for several years ie: 9-11, Katrina, Wilma, etc.

Hosea 5:12: Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

God's moth-like judgment is in progress today in America. It is slowly eating at us.

Hosea 5:14: For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

God's lion-like judgment will soon pounce on America, devouring suddenly and completely.

The cup of America’s sin is rapidly filling up. Americans hardly blush anymore at fornication and adultery.

Jude 1:7: Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

The United States enacting and has enacted, by both custom and law, the Ordinances of the Amorites; therefore the nation is defiled before the Holy God of Israel and faces His Judgment. By promoting homosexuality, America has become like the ancient pagan Amorites and has now come under the judgment of God.

The fact that men and women are abandoning the roles God created for them is also a sign that God is judging.
