Anyways, it's a fact of yoga; ones achieves super powers once yoga is perfected. Such powers include atomic manipulation to make one as small as one wants, as big as one wants, as heavy as one wants, as light as one wants. Yoga means "Union". Union with all the universe and hence control of atoms.

Is universal influence (some would call this god, I call it universal influence) a reality?

In other words, some believe in guardian angles- either as angels of god., or those who has deserved.
Some believe beings from another dimension help them.
I believe that it's a universal influence. I don't know how, who what why or where- but I do feel SOMETHING is guiding me throughout life.

Is there any truth to this? I know you can't view afterlife. Is some type of universal law/intervention that happens?

Or is it just some left over genetic trait that subconsciously guides us that we perceive as being outside influences?

I actually was told in Shaolin Kung Fu training that the Buddha and Jesus were divine Masters that they went on to another physical state much like resonant energy. Their presence in the energy field that surrounds all of us can be accessed by those that study our ancient memory (as OP called it the genetic memory)that exists in our DNA.. which was a training we received on many occasions. Much of our studies also confirmed that we were "evolved" not subject to Alien genetic cross breeding and that at one time were MUCH more advanced and could do at will -genetic splicing and manipulation IF we were of the CLASS that was determined (Royalty?) worthy. My Si Tai Gong at one point said this information was available to anyone willing to access these records which each one of us possess the ability to do so. If OP returns I would like to know if he/she had been trained or currently is a part of this understanding. As I also know we are bound to keep it secret until "told" that we can reveal these truths. As for "super powers" Yoga is not the only way to achieve this as Shaolin the oldest Martial Art.. came from the Gobi Desert during the era of Giant at the end of the last ICE AGE (2nd Kingdom). Yes, I agree with you WhiteLight. Yoga, Chi, Ki, all the same thing really, just different names. But regardless the name, one must be trained in the knowledge first before able to realize the truth. One could argue that Lao Tzu was the grand master of this knowledge, as far as being able to translate the knowledge to folks in a way that is understandable.
