What Night Sky !
Having been raised in the 70's , spending my summers on a Finger lake in NYS , I can tell you that the night sky then was brilliant .

We could see the Milky Way , nebula's and Planets within our solar system . The average star was extremely bright .

Full moon cycles were very clear showing the craters of the moon in detail from the human eye .

Dark moon cycles made space seem touchable ....

For the past 30 years the night sky has changed considerably .

I've moved to the Coast of N.C. a year ago and it's beautiful at night here . however the sky is dim at night compared to my childhood .

Is it pollution ? Is it the Weather modification programs ?

WHAT IS IT ....

Are TPTB intentionally hazing the skies to hide something ?

Can you post any links ....

Thank you .... My kids wanted to know .....and so do I .

Re: What Night Sky !
As long as you refer to the air pollution as 'Geoengineering' and not 'Chemtrails', you should be alright on here :)

Wish my kids asked about this. They're too lost in FB and their daily family life to see past their noses.

Hope you get some good feedback. Threads like this tend to be spammed out with shills once they see a 'keyword'.

Wonder how long this one will last... sigh.....

Does anyone see the milky way at night any more with their own eyes on a clear night ?

Yes. I saw it with absolutely brilliant clarity this weekend at the annual Chiefland Fall Star Party. I laid in my tent with my head out the door for quite some time, just staring at it, while my telescope captured these images:

Probably pollution a combination both light and crap in the atmosphere and maybe your eyes aren't what they used to be.

If you want to see a spectacular night sky you'll need to get down in the southern hemisphere, I've heard Chile is nice this time of year :)

There's still plenty of milk and whey in the big Magellanic cloud where I'm at. While there's plenty of stars in the northern hem on a clear night in the middle of Nebraska I've found it's nothing like what you can see down here.

Yes, easily if you know what to look for, in the rural parts of the mountain west.

It's far more difficult at elevations under 6000 feet.
