Has anybody seen the TV show Alaska State troopers? Police Take Note!

i love that show, and quite simply the men in alaska have to be strong to live there, the state troopers dont fuck around with them to much, if you are breaking the law you reap what you saw, other wise, thats a mighty fine firearm you have there sir and have a nice day.

they dont try and trample on the second ammendment up there, they dont have the same levels of gangs we do down here in the lower 48, and you need firearms to survive in that bear country.

I dont know what it is? If it is because it is legal for everybody to open carry or if Sara Palin did a great Job as Governor protecting the Citizens rights..

but it is working.. and that is how it should be done everywhere.

If they catch you with pot they write you a ticket..

No handcuffs.. a simple notice to appear and pay a fine..

Troopers do not observe any Constitutional guidelines. Maybe on TV, but not in real life.

Most of these young guys are clueless and fear one on one encounters and resort to intimidation. Have seen them try and intimidate women and children. Question children w/o parent present etc. TV is just make believe...

Only good thing about them is there are so few. Most seem pretty diligent and honest, but if they get an idea to pursue, there is no rulebook as to procedure. Just not kosher to get in a woman's face with questions or interrogate minors alone. Have seen them give some pretty dicey advise dealing w/civil (neighbor) disputes.

no pulling you over and saying get out of a car im going to search you and it..

They have to have visual probable cause then call a judge for a warrant, then once the warrant comes impound the car

no illegal searches..

If I am not wrong, barring very real situations they are needed for, most people there could do without them. From history it is no less than a kings vanguard collecting taxes from those who were trying to live free. If you are living alone and no one else has a problem with you, these guys are on the scene...as they always have been since a human could make a flag and figure out horses.

there is no doubt it is a money making scheme by most cities and states to create employment and income however police are needed they just need better training..

they KNOW their place in AK
