Jacksonville police shoot/kill big black man at traffic stop when he takes cop's taser

The taser had fired at the black guy, so it needed reloaded, unless it had stun-gun prongs on the end, for close quarters stunning.

Jax cops kill at least one black guy every day. Fergusson is not even a blip on the map compared to Jacksonville. These cops don't have to take a vacation every year because they spend half their time on paid leave after killing blacks.

You can look at this in many ways, it has a large population, a lot of blacks are unimployed, lots of drug activity, lots of people run from the cops (for good reason)and all of these reasons provide fodder for cops to shoot black men.

You can say all black people are useless thugs, or that all white cops are bullies with a badge, but both are wrong assumptions. There are too many people doing too many things wrong and plenty of cops to stop them.

Occasionally, maybe every other day, a cop will shoot an innocent person like yesterday when they shot at a guy driving eratically through a housing complex. His daughter almost died while the cops took pot shots at him. She was in the back seat suffocating while her father tried to get home to her inhaler.

He was black so they shot at him, but the officers were bad shots so they missed. He didn't have a gun, but he evaded officers so they were justified in shooting at him and if they had killed him or his daughter who was inches away from those bullets the cops would not face any charges and would be on paid vacation for 2 weeks.

I see these stories every day on local news. Most days we have 5 or more shootings. It is a way of life around here and most people accept it without rioting or even getting together to discuss it.

MADD DADS might get together and ask churches to have a benefit for widows or children hit by stray bullets, but otherwise it's just another day in Jax.

The moral of the story is this: Fergusson is not even close to having the problems we have here and if that guy was shot in Jax it would barely make the 5 o-clock news.

That's why I refer to them in the technically appropriate term, "Code Enforcement Personnel" &/or "United States Government Corporation Revenue Generation Personnel" or just "revenue generators", for short.

Dear santa, Please keep this out of the news like all the other jacksonville police shootings. Jacksonville has a gun manufacturing plant here plus we only have one police force(county city and sheriff) combined. We are the largest city in U.S.(only because of square miles) and house a nuclear base that still abides to treaties with russia and they seem able to keep bad news under wrap. You never want to deal with jacksonville police, they are always right and are not lazy. In a lot of cities if there isnt a moving violation they dont pull you or if it is raining etc. Not here. I am just sick of racial talk so I dont want a bunch stuff getting fired up here.

I'm white, female, got pulled over for expired tag, and guess what, I had the TAG in my purse, just hadn't put it on the license plate yet, guess what? I STILL got the ticket.

This is the kinda shit that *isses me off to no end. If they catch yeah w/an expired plate, guess what, it doesn't matter what color you are, you WILL get pulled over and fined.

All I've been seeing/hearing now for months has been a lot of BS blackmail.

Common Law of the Land does not apply any longer. And if you disagree, there is a firing squad ready, as all the Laws have already been voted in my the American People by their elections.

I was thinking the same thing. It actually might be, as this one did not end well, and they're squeezed out every drop of emotion and "injustice" that they can.....time to move on.

I did not say that the cop doesn't have the right to defend himself if someone goes for his weapon.

I'd said that he didn't have a good reason to pull him over in the first place (they rarely do).

But whatever; like I said, I personally follow the legalities/codes/statutes.
