The siege was a part of Pontiac's Rebellion, an effort by American Indians to drive the British out of the Ohio Country and back across the Appalachian Mountains. This event is best known for the documented use of biological warfare when the British Army at Fort Pitt fooled and passively attacked the Native Americans with smallpox using blankets that had been exposed to the virus. not all the Indians were the same, I think the tribes varied in their personalities a lot more than we think. Some where gentle, thoughtful, some were hyper dicks, some just wanted to be left alone, some wanted to trade a lot make a lot of money.

They had the large alliances of the 6 major tribes though, they basically massacred the entire army of whites, something like 1000 white soldiers dead, Indians lost a dozen.

After that the Europeans stopped fucking around and started killing all the smartest Indians, all their chiefs.
