Re: Officer Darren Wilson Could've DE-ESCALATED the Situation. INSTEAD He Chose to...
Well, since no one wants to type a proper refutation, here's the story:

A call went out about the robbery. Wilson was alone, on a 'sick child' call when he saw the two walking down the center double yellow. Wilson testified that he observed at least two cars having to swerve to avoid them.

According to the co-thief, the officer said, "Get the fuck on the sidewalk."

According to the officer, he said: "Please move to the sidewalk."

Thief One replied that they were almost at their destination. Brown told him to "Go fuck himself."

That's when Wilson saw the stolen merchandise in Brown's hand.

He called the officers who were responding to the theft (documented) and then pulled ahead of the two 'youths' to block their way.

MB stepped to his door, slammed it shut as he tried to open it, then reached inside the car and punched Wilson. Wilson had three weapons on him, a baton (asp), pepper spray, and a .229 Sig Saur .40 caliber pistol.

He could use only one from inside his car, and Brown wouldn't let him get out. (Asp, useless, no room to swing. Pepper spray in an enclosed space.)

Brown punched him again, then when Wilson reached for the gun, Brown grabbed it, forced it into Wilson's leg and tried to put his finger inside the trigger guard (assume to pull the trigger). in the struggle, two rounds were discharged that hit no one. Brown was (presumed) cut by broken glass from the gun discharge or possibly hit due to his blood being found on the gun. Wilson testified that he saw blood on the back of his hand but didn't know if it was his or Brown's.

Wilson used his shoulder radio (Walkie) to call in 'shots-fired', but it wasn't on the proper channel for the call to be received (Wilson's testimony). Whether it was knocked off station in the scuffle or if Wilson simple didn't have it on the right channel was never determined.

Brown retreated and ran away - Wilson (thinking he had back-up on the way via his testimony) pursued. Wilson commanded Brown to lay down - hands on head, etc. Brown did not comply, but instead turned, balled his right fist, shoved his left hand under his shirt and charged (Wilson's testimony).

Brown was hit from 20-yards and under with 6-shots, two in the head.

This is Court Recorded testimony of various 'witnesses' including officer Wilson.

There is no 148-feet garbage. The gun isn't even accurate at that range. yes Brown died 148-feet away from the patrol car but he only died 20-yards or less from Wilson.

Where I come from, if an authority figure tells you to do something you do it. It doesn't matter how they said it and let's be real here: it wasn't an outrageous request. You want to lay blame on someone? Blame the fool who could have simply moved to the sidewalk and avoided the 'escalation' of the situation altogether. Blame the guy who chose to punch a cop in the face for asking/telling/commanding him to stop walking in the center of the road.

"Here's the story," you say? You mean, "Here's Officer Wilson's story." Michael Brown is dead. The fact that Prosecutor McCullough allowed Officer Wilson to testify to a grand jury for 4 hours with no cross examination is a travesty. McCullough pre-arranged for the verdict he wanted. Re: Officer Darren Wilson Could've DE-ESCALATED the Situation. INSTEAD He Chose to...
I tend to believe that, upon seeing Mike Brown and his friend walking in the street, Officer Wilson probably did shout out something to the effect of, "Get the fuck on the sidewalk." (Dorian Wilson's testimony).

Upon coming upon a situation, as a police officer you have 2 choices...

1) You can choose to ESCALATE the situation

2) You can choose to DE-ESCALATE the situation.

How does Officer Wilson think a black, male teenager would respond when talked to in such a manner?

How about this tactic instead...

"Hey guys, how are y'all doing today? Could you do me a favor and walk up on the sidewalk? I know the street's empty, but when drivers come upon people walking in the street, a lot if times they'll call the station and give us grief about it. Thanks. I appreciate it. You guys have a great day."

Sure, it requires more effort on the officer's part to say a few more words (heaven forbid!). But you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Officer Wilson, I believe, chose the path that led to confrontation.

And I think Wilson was confronted, and that his manhood was called into question.

And I think that Officer Wilson broke the police officer's #1 rule: Do not use your uniform to justify any shortcomings you might have as a person.

Sound familiar? Sounds like Zimmerman/ Trayvon Martin.

Why would Officer Wilson choose the words, "Get the fuck on the sidewalk."? Respect is given when received. Same for disrespect. As an officer representing the law, Officer Wilson's approach was provocative and unprofessional. He chose the path of confrontation.

If it was a White guy, shot by a White cop "NOBODY" would care..... But because it was a Black guy killed by a White guy, this has turned into this huge racial divide here in America. The terrorists in Furgistan, the news media, this Administration and the Sharptons of the world have turned this into this huge debate and are encouraging this behavior and fanning the flames.

 Quoting: Shirley U. Jest

Wilson killed him because he slammed the door on his leg. It's that simple. When Wilson backed up placing his vehicle in a position to block the progress of Brown and opened the door hitting Brown with it, Brown shoved it closed and pinched his leg in the door as he was attempting to step out. The police have uses this same tactic of hitting me with their door as they step out of the vehicle on me.. It was at this point when Brown pinched his leg in the door that Wilson drew his gun intending to kill Brown and Brown grabbed it because he knew Wilson was about to shoot him. Wilson fired and shot Brown through the hand. Brown was startled, let go and Wilson shot him through the door. Brown attempted to flee while seriously wounded in the abdomen and Wilson exited the vehicle and pursued him , his intention to finish him off. Brown in a last ditch bid to live tried to rush Wilson to get the gun he was shooting him with away from him, and Wilson fired several more rounds into Brown, dropping him on his face and then proceeded to fire two more shots into the top rear of his head while he was face down and either unconscious or dead.

THATS WHAT HAPPENED. And it's murder under color of law.

Read what conservative Justice Antonin Scalia has to say about the Ferguson grand jury.

Justice Scalia, by the way, is the one person with whom Rush Limbaugh has said he'd switch brains. Are those conservative and intelligent enough credentials for you?

No you fucktard. I say, here's the story taken from the fucking evidence presented. I could give two fucks who Rush Limbaugh wants to switch brains with.

Winson is alive, Brown is dead and no other witness prsented convicing evidence to the contrary. So good luck. Maybe if you squeeze and push hard enough, you can shit something that doesn't exist.

Meltdown! Red alert! Battle stations! Lol

I guess conservative Justice Antonin Scalia's remarks about what was wrong with the Ferguson grand jury got your panties all in a bunch, eh? Lol

True. IF that's what happened.

And that's not when Officer Wilson killed him. It was later in the event.
 Quoting: Shirley U. Jest

well yeah, he charged him full speed after attempting to take the gun. clearly there was a fight inside the cruiser.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58670080

That tussle was over.

There's no evidence MB charged Wilson; let alone at high speed.

Only Officer Wilson's testimony, which he shouldn't have been allowed to give, unless the opportunity to cross examine him was also given. And it wasn't.
 Quoting: Shirley U. Jest

The tussle is a felony. At that point the cop is enabled by law to shoot a fleeing felon (even in the back)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 65389000

nope...that law was changed years ago.
Killson had to have probable cause to chase and kill MB.
and because Killson knew MB was unarmed, there was no probable cause to kill him.

It is my opinion that Wilson murdered a man and deserves to die for it. It would be preferable that the law applied to him like it does to me and then we wouldn't have a country about to come apart at the seams. Murder under color of law should be an automatic death sentence , a mandatory sentence.

The guy was trying to take his Gun, it was proven in court with facts.
If he didn't do what he did HE would more than likely be dead.
