The eyes are probably one of the weakest senses out of all the human senses. How you can tell when someone is staring at you from behind? You can feel it burning into the back of your head, but can't see it. You can feel the wind, but can't see it, and yet you know it's there.

God is not hidden. If you seek Him, you will find Him. If you ask to hear from Him, He will respond. However, His presence might not be known by any human physical carnal sense (sight, touch, smell, taste, sound).
