Airplane Trails in Northern NM...Chem or Con??
Driving south in Northern NM today. The airplane highway was busy and the trails just hung around.

I couldn't tell if they were Public or Military.

Those are CHEMTRAILS for sure .. I checked the upper atmosphere data for today in norther New Mexico.

The link is here so you can see the data for yourself
The two radiosonde data sets for the day clearly show that the was not enough relative humidity in the upper atmosphere to form what the government calls persistent contrails .. which require an upper atmosphere relative humidity of at least %60

Those are definitely chemtrails ... especially noting the grid pattern of the trails ... more info at

Yup.

Chemtrails.

Laid them down pretty heavy this morning in Vegas too.

Must have been next to no wind up there today. These just seemed to be still.

Normal contrails dissipate right after the jet flies by.
As in shortly behind it, you can see it dissipate...
Anything else is a chemtrail.

El Prado here. Definite heavy uptick in the spraying. We had a long break but they are back and seem to be making up for their recent absence.
I've even had some regulars who pop in to check out progress in the studio bring it up over the last week. Not the normal freaks like myself either but comments from people who 'keep up' w/ main stream news and when feeling edgy maybe some Amy Goodman and NPR (No Pulse Required). Cool to see them poking around outside their comfort zones and finally acknowledging what is obvious to the rest of us. Not cool having the trails back and all that is, depending on your definition of 'is' that is.

Sorry.. lingering contrails due to favorable conditions to do so. Those trails are right down the airway and if you look closely some are stacked as in flight level 330 / 350 / 370 or even altitudes for westbound. A little upper level wind and wala what you see is what you get!

I was looking south in this pic and they all seemed to be at a similar elevation, just different longitude.

I'd say chem trails. When I see contrails here they look like they start at one point and spread out in a fan shape. NM is far enough away from the starting airport that we don't have parallel flight paths. I'm sure there are other originating destinations but they tend to look like they start in Phoenix and spread out to Chicago or Dallas.
Another reason I say chemtrails is that they are lower in the atmosphere. Planes going cross country over NM have a higher flight plan.

Anyway the CONTRAILS I saw this morning were short. a tenth of the length seen here. They were also wavy and much higher in the atmosphere.

The ones I saw seemed to be going East to West and did seem to be at a normal cruising elevation. Usually I can discern the larger passenger planes, but I couldn't make them out today, which made me think that they could be military - possibly single seater, but I may have been just too far away. The lines did look to be pointing to Dallas to the East (left) heading to Phoenix to the West (right).

Chicago to Phoenix is a definite possibility as it seemed to be pointing a bit north of Dallas. I mentioned Dallas when I took the pic, but I thought it seemed a bit north of DFW.
