Quoting: Eating Cannabis Cures Old Age Upon second rewatch I noticed behind Clooney is a wall of various screens depicting the chaotic events taking place on the film's Earth. Riots, looting,tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes, and possibly an Earthquake? Here's the summary from the Wikipedia article: Frank (George Clooney) and Casey (Britt Robertson) travel to a place somewhere in time and space only known as Tomorrowland where their actions directly affect the world and themselves A colony off Earth where a powerful select few influence what happens on Earth (and judging by the Earth in the movie, their direct influence is absolutely not for the better) ...the Elite sure aren't very inconspicuous nowadays. |

A movie trailer comes out about the Elite secretly using technology to manipulate Earth and cause chaos (with specific emphasis on looting and rioting). Disney (the film's studio) owns ABC news. The same news that for the past few months, depicted Michael Brown as innocent and depicted Darren Wilson as a racist murderer. Rioting happens when Wilson is not charged, because people are stupid and believe the MSM's version of the events. |
