Collar ran toward the USA police department, a building nestled in trees near the Beta-Gamma residence halls. On the way, according to witnesses, he attempted to get into two cars, once attempting to bite a woman. But no one called police or 911.

When 5-foot-7, 135-pound former high-school wrestler Collar reached the police department building, he banged on the windows. No one initially answered, and he walked away.

Re: Black police officer shoots unarmed white student
We really just need to consider that the rioters feel unheard. Many of us just sit around and justify our deafness......, with crap like this. Blacks make up about 15% of the American population, and probably much less of the police force. Of course they are not going to have as many scandals.

We need to listen. We have to admit that even within the last 60 years, blacks have gotten the cold shoulder from White Americans. Not long again, they couldn't even use the same bathrooms.

Now, they make up a large part of the people living in poverty within the cities. We have many issues to solve. For whites, we need realize that frustrated Black people are merely the natural response of human consciousness living in the circumstances that they are.

If we whites were living under that same poverty, we would be pissed too.

There are poor white people, but many are them are anger too.
Truth is the reaction to the presence of consciousness.

No, we don't want to care. not really. Most white guys just want their kids to go to bed and get away from their wife to smoke a phatty in the garage for some peace it seems like to me.

Because Black America cites racism where there is none. Constantly.

And black "community leaders" gather and collude to incite riots and violence through their exploitation of the Black American tendency to cling to the racism theme for dear life.

There is racism. But it's not coming from White America. As you can see, whites don't tend toward those themes, or rioting, looting and burning. Blacks are being used by the pillars of their own society. And they're being sold out by their own just like when they sold them to European trading ships as slaves.

They don't see it, and they will never see it.

Re: Black police officer shoots unarmed white student
Tell me what is right and what is wrong in this scenario:

White man is driving his car with his wife and child. He is on probation for petty theft. He has a warrant out on him for parole violation (missed his visit to his probation officer). He was terrified to visit his probation officer because he was threatened to be taken directly to jail if he showed up next time without a job, even though he lived in an area that had no jobs and extreme rate of unemployment.

A local policeman, notes that he did not signal when he made a turn . He turns his lights on to pull him over and in fear, the white man continues driving, ignoring the police car lights. Within minutes, 10 local and state policemen arrive on the scene and a "low" speed chase begins. Without provocation, the police begin to shoot at the car of the white man, with the mans wife and small child in the car. Little do the police know that the man is very untrusting of the police and he is determined to not stop until he can safely get his wife and child out of the car. He manages to make a fast turn and allude the police long enough to stop the car to let them out safely.

A high speed chase now ensues. The young man is now completely riddled with fear and drives out of town to surrounding country roads. He is finally surrounded and has no choice but to stop when he meets up with a single lane bridge with a police car parked on it. He drives into a field and stops the car. The police get out of their cars, crouch down and begin shooting at the car and the young white man.

Arguments begin between state and local police as to who is in charge...how ridiculous that they don't know. The local police chief is disgruntled that the other cowboy local police and state police want to gun this man down. At this point the young man was only eluding arrest. He risks his own life and begins to walk toward the car with his gun drawn.

He is mortified to find the young man, obviously shot in the head, slumped over the wheel, unconscious. He is even more mortified when he sees this young man is his nephew.

He summons the other officers to call an ambulance. They stay behind their cars, crouched down, guns drawn as if the young man will wake get up and come after them. The police chief and uncle, radios for emergency crews himself.

The family is told the young man had his own weapon and shot himself point blank in the head, yet records showed the concealed weapon, was still concealed after the man was shot. Ballistic reports showed the gun was not shot and the records were concealed. A nurse who came to the scene in the intensive care ambulance, came to the parents home the next day to tell them the truth that she knew....that the police refused to allow the man to be treated on the scene for 15 minutes, even though the scene was considered secure. During that 15 minutes the young man died....He died in total fear.

Over the course of the next two weeks, others came to the family to encourage an investigation into the abuse of police power. One was a policeman on the scene and another ambulance attendant were among the 4 people who wanted the truth to come out. The family thinking it over carefully did not ask for an investigation. That would not bring back their dead son and brother. Before the tragedy, they had encouraged him to report his abusive probation officer so that he did not live in fear of being jailed for not having a job. But untrusting the establishment, he did not take their advice. The family also saw their son and brother as a part of his own tragedy, because he refused to pull over when the policeman attempted to stop him in the first place. Since then there are many people who talk about this abuse of police power, especially the local police chief who was the uncle and the young man. Although not memorialized, the young man was not seen as a violent criminal by those who knew him because the news of the police abuse of power traveled through the community. Several local politicians contacted his family and offered to force an investigation but the family refused the kind offers.

This tragedy happened in 1979. The young man was my brother. It was a terrible tragedy but it ended there, no riots, no demands or rants. My family and my bother's white friends and were able to see the mistakes made on both sides and all that was left for all of us was the remains of a senseless death. Strangers who heard what happened, attended his funeral even though they never met him. The same police that were involved had to be there to assist in crowd control and traffic - not rioting.

White people continue to conduct themselves in the same civilized manner today. Need I say more?

The bottom line should be that cops abuse their authority and should no longer get away with it. Not whether the victim was black, white, asian.
If we had everyone fighting for the same cause instead of whining over race, we may actually have the influence to make changes to this part of this system...But nope! We are acting exactly how they want us to.

Acknowledging race-based disparities in the way the media portrays these events is not the same thing as "whining about race".

The sad truth is that if the media, the president, and so-called "civil rights leaders" hadn't had a race-baiting field day with this story (particularly "hands up don't shoot", which turned out to be a flat-out lie), it would've never turned into the shit-show we're now seeing.

Even if you don't care about race, you HAVE to be aware of how much other people care about race (particularly violent morans like the Fergustanians), because like it or not, their racism affects your rights as a citizen no matter what "color" you are.

SOME cops abuse their authority, but there's nothing logical or constructive about throwing the baby out with the bathwater and negatively stereotyping people who (like it or not) YOU depend on.

This is sad, sorry for your loss OP, I really think when it comes to high speed chases there should be NONE. If you know the suspect and the car, why put other lives in danger. There was a similar situation I think in oakland, a 13 year old boy led police on a high speed chase, in the end, they riddled the car with bullet. We need to re-evaluate things like the countries where cops DON'T carry guns.

Thank you for your kind words. When a young person dies in such a senseless manner, it is hard to heal afterwards. The good thing that happened in my brother's death was that without an investigation, people rallied together to make sure the truth was put out there. Even though there was no investigation, the truth was shown without violence, riots and civil disobedience.

Sadly, my uncle, who was the police chief, eventually resigned from his position because of the refusal to administer the changes in police policy and procedures that he tried to implement.

Militarization of police is a precursor to totalitarian rule. Germany in the 30's. As long as you didn't fuck with the brown shirts, Gestapo or SS you were left alone. Of course unless you were a member of one of the groups that were regularly persecuted. The citizens felt that as long as they were busy dealing with those groups they would leave you alone. By the time the citizens figured out that something else was up it was to late. I thought Americans were smarter and admired freedom to much to fall into this trap. Obviously I was wrong. Look up the definition of nazi. It involves deep government/corporate control of everything. We are getting closer all the time. Corporations run almost everything in our country and they are to big to fail. The system needs militarized police to keep the public domicile. The system also needs us divided. We are falling hook line and sinker. Wake up!

It could be that cops are becoming more violent, OR that more crimes are being committed that legally justify deadly force. It's difficult to determine objectively, it's a classic chicken vs. egg scenario. Correlation and causation are also easy to confuse.

I'm tempted to ascribe it to a concept called "frequency illusion"

The media has used predictive programming over the last decade or so to bring instances of "police brutality" to the forefront, so it's not surprising that it's becoming more noticeable, especially with the recent prevalence of surveillance equipment built right into people's cell phones.

The irony is that they haven't had much to say about actual progression toward a police state (for instance running riot control drills at colleges, locking down entire cities to go on manhunts, breaking state laws to uphold federal laws, killing grannies in no-knock SWAT raids, etc). They rarely even report actual police brutality, more often they report Michael Brown-type stories that generate ad revenue and anti-American sentiments.

People ignore the real police state, they only pay attention to sensationalized stories about race, and they use it as an excuse to dismiss even the POSSIBILITY that at least a small, moderate form of government is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for people to enjoy what few creature comforts and protections from criminals they do have

When are you retards going to wake up and smell the coffee.

This isnt a black and whit issue.

Stop being led like fucking sheep by the MSM.

This is about the militarization of the police.

Militarized police force is a scarier proposition then a few racist cops.

Wake up sheeple.
MSM is manipulating you into the whole black and white agenda.

You shouldn't be looking at what the MSM is saying, you should be looking at what they aren't saying, like
WHY THE FUCK ARE THE POLICE USING SO MUCH DEADLY FORCE?

Yes, it's funny how police in Ferguson & elsewhere that are battling rioters have suddenly become our heroes whereas they weren't before. Tptb have gotten the desired reaction that will be necessary when they come for what is coming and they used racial issues to do it. It's definitely orchestrated.

As far as this particular shooting the cop had other options - tazer, pepper spray to use against a 140lb, naked, high kid.
