I work in a predominantly black neighbourhood and the folks over 5o are great but the teens and most folks under 30 just don't seem to like white dudes.

i grew up in an inner city environment and went to city schools. happens all the time, glare back, don't show fear and you'll be fine. They smell/sense fear and 90% can't fight. Otherwise, save up and move.

This is a true story down to the letter.

I'm in the 50's now so things have changed. I am white but was raised in a all black neighborhood lines blocks and of shotgun houses in a small town in Arkansas. Even through we were extremely poor with no running water etc and only a few marbles to server as toys for years and was aware of it and enjoyed the company of my friends all whom were black. In the 15 years of living in a area where my closest white neighbor was one half mile away we only had something stolen one time even through our doors were never locked not having locks on them. We found out years later that we were robbed by our cousin who would visit sometimes. I was very happy living with my grandmother duty this period.

Years later I moved to Chicago and 10 years later returned and visited my grandmother and took her out to eat.When we returned to her house it was pitch black with no lights anywhere. As we come to a stop in her small driveway I noticed 5 large black teens standing near the car and almost freaked out telling my grandmother not to stop.

She didn't didn't blink an eye but stopping and got outside the car. The boys approached and said "Man, we seen some apples had fallen from the tree and wanted to know if we could have a few". Of course she said yes but I was left with a unforgettable feeling that brings tears to my eyes even now 30 years later. Of coarse times have changed but there are some lessons that remain here.

85% of whites are killed by whites. Crime is demographic in nature and the basis of it is poverty. Globally you will see the common denominator to all crime is poverty. Even in majority white countries like Russia. In poverty stricken areas crime is at it's highest. Unfortunately that explanation doesn't help your race baiting.
