Is Jesus the son of God or God.

The Gospels (in the order they were written) are:

The Gospel of Mark

The Gospel of Matthew

The Gospel of Luke

The Gospel of John


They were all written anonymously in the third person, after Jesus's death.


The author of the Gospel of Mark does not claim that Jesus is God, and does not claim that Jesus said he was God, and it does not mention the Trinity.

The author of the Gospel of Matthew does not claim that Jesus is God, and does not claim that Jesus said he was God, and it does not mention the Trinity.

The author of the Gospel of Luke does not claim that Jesus is God, and does not claim that Jesus said he was God, and it does not mention the Trinity.

The last of the Gospels to be written, the Gospel of John is the only one in which the author claims that Jesus is God and the only one in which Jesus himself claims to be God, and it is the only one to mention the Trinity...




I think that the author of the Gospel of John made Jesus into God.... i can not come up with any reasonable explanation for why none of the first 3 Gospel authors would not mention these things, it isn't as if they are insignificant....

Before John, Jesus claimed to be the Messiah (Human King of the Jews) and the Son of God. For the author of Mark, Jesus is adopted by God at his baptism and is from then on God's son.

In Matthew and Luke he is conceived at the virgin birth and is literally the son of God from the moment he is born.

The Gospel of John doesn't mention the adoption of Jesus by God at the baptism like in Mark, or the virgin birth like in Matthew and Luke, because the author of the Gospel of John had to convince us that Jesus IS God, and those two events present a lot of problems.

God went into the virgin Mary and God came out of the virgin Mary.

JESUS THE SON OF GOD
Question: Jesus, who is your DAD???
Jesus: God.

JESUS THE FATHER GOD.
Question: Jesus, well then who are you?
Jesus: God.

It was the Holy Ghost who spoke from heaven. When Jesus returned to him then he sent him to us.

If Jesus was God, why would the Devil try and tempt God himself in the wilderness.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

We was sent here by the Father. He received revelations from the father to teach us about him. Then he return to the father.

you made up your own Gospel...

please show me one Gospel author who agrees with you.

The problem is that people pick and chose what they want from each Gospel author and end up with beliefs that aren't shared by ANY of the Gospel authors.... they pretty much write their own Gospel and then quote bits and pieces from different authors to support their beliefs.
