Can someone tell me how one measures "intelligence".

By the number of times a day you masterbait now you know why America is in so much trouble!

Wow, I would have though with a the "intelligent" people here on this site someone would have some input apart from the clown above.

i ask my gf that question. she says iq test. i say that is no way to measure total itellegence

Actually, I think it's a question that can't really be answered.

There is no way to measure intelligence.

I would say it depends mostly on your ability to learn.

However, there is no way to measure that either.

perhaps it means the ability to survive and thrive in ones environment without destroying it.

More important than measuring or having intelligence is USING it. You will not discover much truth by thinking superficially. You will if you think deeply, that is, after thinking a bit at the start, think again and again. Keep digging! Consider the possibility that you are limited in finding the truth by incomplete information. This should stimulate a search for additional information.

I would say a true measure of intelligence might be one's ability to use what he has learned.

True intelligence is when one can extrapolate beyond what one has learned. Otherwise it's just copying.

Intelligence is being able to predict outcomes. This means you don't need communications, mathematics and all the other factors traditionally associated with intelligence.

The more you can predict in different facets of life the more intelligent you are. We control our environment more than any other species because we predict outcomes.

We are all the same intelligence level until someone opens their mouth. Other than this, one can only attempt to measure their own intelligence based on a survey of their experiences.

Tell you what is not intelligent! Trying to be succesful in a system that has to destroy nature to survive and also diminishes you're soul energy every step of the way. Learning to love is the only "intelligent" thing you need to know when it's all said and done.
