So, I just got out of a relationship, I'm 32, 290 lbs (though I'm 6'5" and not really horribly fat).

I have hit the gym up and would be documenting what I'm doing, eating ect. Take ideas and give ideas to other "husky" people like myself..

Just let me know, I'll start one up or I'll just do this alone.

Mow the laws around your area. After that pick up the leeves. Then get on yoru hands and knees and pick up all the pebbles in your yard, and the houses around you, and then the park.

Then from wherever you location is at, on the weekend, start walking in the direction of the beach, while you are doing the other chores. STart your increments at 10 Miles each, and every month move the increment another 10.

Before you start your regiment, there is a warm up regiment, which last months, to confiugre the body properly, before the regiment begins. Eat only natural organic leaf material and vegetables. DRink Water. Intake both on gradual scale increment.

Continue this and the body will become non fat, and healthy. If you are beyond the vanity of looks, and the material realm, then dont worry about the shell that is passing away.

Right now I do a circuit of machine weights both upper and lower body, then 30 minutes on treadmill 3x a week, lower body including weightweighted lunges and stretches with 45 minutes of treadmill 3x a week.

Every day I stretch after in the pool, do sit ups and push ups in the sauna.

Eat a lot of rice, asparagus, carrots and chicken for meat.

Drink mainly water, some 2% milk.

Bodybuilding.com is a waste of time. They are under pressure from the government, just like Weider magazines have been for a long time, to present 'balanced' diet recommendations. Their macros are total garbage. The reality is you can't get in fantastic shape unless you ratchet your protein WAY, WAY up and lower your carbs. Every serious BB knows this hard, cold fact. It's been true since before the 1960's when BB's first discovered it and nothing has changed. But if you open your mouth about it on bb.com they will delete your posts. The site is overrun with trolls who bleat the party line like good little sheep.

Re: would anyone be interested in a thread like this?
I would suggest The Master Cleanse. I tried it and lost one pound to one and a half pounds per day sometimes two. Went from low 2's down to 160 in when 17. Early 20's and Now I am slim and in great shape. Some other benefits are that it cleanses the body making one feel great, Brings a youthful glow, And raises ones energy. Quite revitalizing really. Although admittedly it does take a lot of will power to stay on it for a extended period of time, My longest was 16 days. One can do it as long as they see fit for themselves. I have done this cleanse three to four times so far. If one chooses to do this I guarantee they will see positive results. You are still fairly young so you should be able to handle it just fine.

Essentially It is water, Grade B maple syrup, Lemon Juice, And Cayenne pepper mixed together to make a juice. It does not taste bad, It just takes some getting used to. One just drinks this juice and eats NO FOOD OR OTHER DRINKS or anything else during this diet/cleanse. I felt good during the cleanse I did not feel weak or lack energy. The body fat just burns off, As I mentioned I lost about one to one and a half pounds per day sometimes two.

The juice mix ratio for me was:

10-12 tablespoons of Grade B maple syrup (preferably organic)

6-8 juiced lemons (preferably organic)

About 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper, Or as much as you'd like once you get used to it and would like to add more (preferably organic as well)

1 gallon of spring water

Separately aside from the juice mix do 1 tablespoon of sea salt or pink himalayan salt mixed with 1 quart of water, Drink this first thing in the morning or before bed at night. Be prepared to be on the toilet for a while your first few times doing this, For this part of the cleanse is meant to clean out the colon an especially bladder. Over time the walls of bladder gets caked with digested food residue, This part will clean the bladder out a lot.

I would get a gallon pitcher, And add them in that order, Syrup, Lemons, Cayenne pepper, mix together then add the gallon of spring water. Easy to do. This gives the body around 1100 calories or so which is enough for energy and enough calories to sustain itself. Every time one gets hungry they should just drink this juice in place of regular meals. One should Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day as well.

It worked very well for me, So I thought I would assist others in passing this information along so that they could benefit from it as I have. I am going to start another master cleanse session up in about a month or so and I am looking forward to it :) .

I would also suggest P90X, I have attained the dvd set so I will begin that soon. I have known people who have used this and it worked well for them, Which convinced me to get it myself. Watched the program and it is really actually quite good.

I hope you reach your desired goals. Would also like to hear any significant updates on improvements you might have along the way to reaching them. Let us know how things work out if for the better.

I agree with this. I will also add that cutting out sugar almost completely or altogether from the diet can make one look quite younger and youthful. I have known someone who looked 10 years younger applying this to themselves, They where also in amazing shape. Takes will power and a slightly strict diet but I say it is well worth the benefits. Still quite young and I learned from that and have applied the same to my diet.
