CDC admits flu vaccine does NOT work

This happens more times than not! I am glad that I refuse to ever get the shot even though my family and in-laws all fuss at me for refusing to do so! Joke's on them this year!

This is leading up to regular injections, because the dummy sheep will believe it helps.

I call shenanigans. Ebola is coming and they need an excuse why more people are getting sick this year than normal

Not surprised. On a good year, the flu vaccine is 60% effective. That is almost 50/50 chance the shot will work for you.


On an individual level, the flu shot is pointless. In fact, you may get the flu more often by taking the shot.

On a social level, it reduces the spread of the flu.



It makes sense in a social perspective, not a personal one.


I NEVER took the flu shot and I am not getting anymore sick then the other who has.

In fact, I hardly ever get the flu and I do not take the shot. What does this say? Healthy living is far more effective then a dirty shot.

My daughter gets her flu shot yearly where she has asthma. She has almost died 2 times due to the flu so now she gets the shot. I am suppose to get the flu shot where I have a bad heart however the past 2 years I have not had it, and never got the flu. I suppose all it takes is just getting the flu just once over the next year and I will end up back in the hospital. However to me it is pointless to keep getting it yearly. I don't get out much in the winter.

I could not agree with you more. If they did mess up, when would they ever admit it?? And considering we haven't even peaked on the flu saeson, how could they even tell now anyways? I think they are just starting to set the stage.

Circumstances as yours warrants some added protection but a vaccine is not necessarily the answer.

Masks, hand washing, staying away crowded ares etc, will often keep the flu at bay.

I have not had the flu in over 3 years and I am a nurse.

Ebola, this years ebola, mutates faster than the flu.

Think about the effectiveness of any ebola vaccine after this and other flu vaccine miss matches.

I have a compromized immune system, and half our family does. And would never get a shot. That would really complicate it further.

Common sense told me 30 fuckin years ago vaccines don't work.

You think you're gonna inject something into my veins? You're out of your mind. The first problem with doctors is they think they are smarter than me or that they know better when they do not. They are just average people capable of fucking up like anyone else.

So this is one of the reasons why every drug store around here is offering it free this year. The only thing it can do is make you sick. Yah, lets all get in line for that.

btw i saw this mentioned on the nightly news, how the vaccines THIS year are not working.
and i was watching and said damn, they will STILL promote the damn shots.
sure enough, at the end of the piece the cdc guy said even though the shots are not effective for this year, we STILL RECOMMENT GETTING THE FLU SHOT>

It is suppose to work only on a few of the Flu viruses out there, however best bet that I see is just drink more orange juice and take vitamin C, and keep ourselves at home more.

I hadnt been sick in 10 years, 3 years ago I did get the flu. I have never taken the flu vaccine and I never will.

They will spin it any way they can to keep the money rolling in for Big Pharma, that is who they work for, not the American people.

No one in my family has ever received the flu shot, and none of us have ever contracted the flu. My friend who is an RN gets her flu shot and makes her kids get it, every year. Every year without fail, they all get the flu. That speaks loud enough for me.

I agree with this statement.. I have never remembered this happening before.

Flu shots are great if you want dementia later on in life... nothing like soaking your brain with mercury.

That's what I was thinking. If a person's immunity is compromised, even more reason to not take one.
