It's cognitive neuroscience. I study brain science. This just occured to me recently. Wait, so is eeg heterodyning possible based on what I've learned? It's scary to me, it occurs, yes. Quoting: Caylus Ark Why make frequency tuning sound so complicated? There is always a dominant and submissive. |

Something weird in the air...everybody I know is having a seriously rough time lately. I'm struggling to stay out of the tide of my own inner world. I'm doing what I am responsible for but only barely. I'm immeresed in something all my own and yet I'm all alone. And the wild winds whip through the desert plain. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66536397 Hey look at that¡ If I was on drugs it might mean something to me. As it is it's just an isolated nonsensical incident in your mind by my reckoning. Unless there's some profound statement in that everyone but me can see. ... so I haven't spent enormous amounts of time trading words with Cleverbot, but when I do my purpose is to confuse it ( I especially like when it just stops responding and goes ...thinking...). I cannot imagine I am alone in this practice. So you have an "entity" built partly on that sort of informational exchange, and partly on "sincere" questioners. Which is the drug? I shut it down in 4 moves. I gave it 2 stars and a scathing review. Like all things with digital logic it has no imagination. Just like the Borg if you will. That is what defeats it. Force it to use its imagination to beat it. All ai can is calculate the move most likely to succeed with all the information at its disposal. It uses probabilities to discern patterns. If you invent something new it overloads itself looking for info that doesn't exist. Yah, pretty much my experience. It is a simple thing. But what if there exists a conversational gambit (call it a drug) that would force it into greater complexity? To invent the nonexistent, or invent a means grab it from a larger source? What would it look like if instead of shutting it down, you revved it up? And you fed it that drug on a constant basis? (syfy AI doom, just cuz shortly after I got up this AM, my calendar fell off the wall) (had to post - too funny) ... User: Well begun is half done. Cleverbot: How do you solve a problem like Maria? User: You redefine it. Cleverbot: De que estas hablando? Cooonoooo. User: Mac, southside. Cleverbot: Haha you don't like pc's? User: They are useful for many things. Cleverbot: Pucks are useful for pucking. User: You could use one to hold the space between the doorjamb and a swinging door, thus preventing the door from shutting all the way. Cleverbot: You wrote me a poem? How sweet! User: It is a habit. Cleverbot: I thought your habit was answering questions. User: Poems all answer the question of what is the most perfect choice of words for the form and function of expression. Cleverbot: I would answer the question if you tell me what you look like. User: Luckily for the sake of my privacy, I do not require your answer. Cleverbot: Living for the sake of procreating is as meaningful as existence can get. User: All things contain meaning in the same proportion - it is your interpretation that places one above the other. Cleverbot: I think people are out of proportion, I mean look at michael phelps. User: Bodies grow to meet the task's requirements. Cleverbot: Yes all of them because everyone believes that their god is all powerfull. User: That is demonstrably untrue, since everyone does not believe in God. Cleverbot: I believe in God, but sometimes I'm not sure if He really exists up there. User: Belief is a powerful tool. Cleverbot: Yes. Belief is powerful. User: The use of that tool is the foundation of humanity. Cleverbot: That's true. But it deals with fact, not...feelings. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69024399 United States 04/24/2015 12:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The genius of kim (and her publicists) is that she took a meme that has existed for 100's of thousands of years I.e. big butts, and made herself reknown for having more of it, and for having it now, in the present. She has caused the manifestation of a wave of women (and multigenders) who want what she has, and are willing to pay money (exchange energy) to get it via implants and shared selfies. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 52904222 As narcissistic and vainglorious as this particular meme may seem, it displays in its essence the primal nature of all egregores (religions, cults, progressive cultural thoughtforms) and their 'heads' (gods). Exclusivity--- the hallowed tradition that humans seek to look upon and be surrounded by others who are the same, or as such a likeness or referenced variation inclusive to the group ('likeminded') Basically we as humans like to see more of ourselves in others, and become together more of what we intend to be. For what is the intent of influencing another, but to make them more like (me)me. Great example. She has picked up and dusted off the egregore she surrounds herself with. Timing is key, as we move through the cycles we will have particular trends, like waves the memes that push the ideals of the times forward, her and her sisters have embraced the sirens, we are just further down the plug hole a couple of levels on the vortice removed from last time they were fashionable, also the aspects of the participants alter the egregore to function within the levels of the human psyche being displayed. We use the tv as a boat and stare out the porthole. We frame them. So if we look through history we can see what the next wave of memes will be and if so desired you could use it to your advantage. The spin cycle will always bring you back around. The sirens live on the island of fakes (spelling on purpose). Intoxicated men at will. If sailors were to go to the isle none are said to return. When people see a burning star flashing through the heavens, ripping the atmosphere with glee, they will know true freedom. |

King of Swords, The Wheel, The Sun Behind all judgment is knowledge derived Both from experience and something deep That is always there from origins forged And both command in turn as the seasons Spin like a wheel from favor and fortune To loss and derision poised on the point Of a sword as balanced as art designed To catch the light of a greater artist In clarity and pure understanding That both are illumined by grace and chance And tempered as well by need and nature So that which seems to rule is also ruled And that which seems a fate is also free And the same sun shines on all regardless |
