Doom On??? - All Bank Employees to Receive Survival Kits From Treasury Dept.

I feel these kits are just minute survival items for when things go down. They can keep the employees there long enough to have them make the last minute transfers and banking operations... and then leave them in the dust.

If this is true..... Doom is eminent!!!

I never thought theyd try to pull another "bank holiday" but who knows...

I theres no way they'll call it a bank holiday, i betcha they are gonna do a bail in and renege on fdic insurance... Yep, thats what this is... When they pull this, the idiot low level bank employees will bear the brunt of the anger of stupid americans who never will figure out who their real enemy is.

The Department of Treasury is seeking to order survival kits for all of its employees who oversee the federal banking system, according to a new solicitation.

The survival kits must come in a fanny-pack or backpack that can fit all of the items, including a 33-piece personal first aid kit with “decongestant tablets,” a variety of bandages, and medicines.

The kits must also include a “reusable solar blanket” 52 by 84 inches long, a 2,400-calorie food bar, “50 water purification tablets,” a “dust mask,” “one-size fits all poncho with hood,” a rechargeable lantern with built-in radio, and an “Air-Aid emergency mask” for protection against airborne viruses.

Survival kits will be delivered to every major bank in the United States including Bank of America, American Express Bank, BMO Financial Corp., Capitol One Financial Corporation, Citigroup, Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Company, and Wells Fargo.

This is a VERY unprecedented "GLP LIKE" action by the Treasury and something that deserves much thought and conversation. WTF????

The only kit bank employees gonna need is a gun with lots of ammo.....they'll need to fight off the depositors that want to hang them from lamp posts when their savings are "bailed in"....

This is weird. What they described is a day pack at best. One 2,400 calorie bar? Seriously? If they really want to help their employees survive a disaster of their own making, why wouldn't they just send a memo out or have the top guy at each bank tell the people to go home right before they pull the plug? That would make a lot more sense than sending a cheap backpack with one high calorie power bar.
