We cannot control what we believe. Evolutionism is a belief and so is Atheism. Atheism is in fact a religious belief. It is a belief pertaining to religion. Evolutionism is the creation myth of Atheism by default. We all play a role. Mine is as a believer in the Word. Did I choose to believe? No. Can I persuade others to believe as I do? It would seem not. Theories built on theories supported by still more theories get all the ink and all the microphones. Our "experts" no longer endure sound doctrine. Everything they believe is inconsistent with any form of observation. They cling to their belief in spite of total inconsistency with observation. And then they call me irrational. Truth is; they have no more control over what they believe than I do.

I don't believe that there is a god above us, because frankly... it doesn't make sense and I don't believe an old book that most likely got written to trick people.
For me, it's a shame that people take religion super serious in today's world.

BUT. I don't call my self an Atheist either.
If people ask me if I believe in god (It barely happens in Sweden) I usually answer with a simple, "No and I don't want to talk about it because I don't care."
I don't understand why people go around talking down on other people's believes.

If they believe that there is a god, then let them...
If they believe that there is nothing, then let them...
If they don't give a flying fuck, then let them.
I don't understand why those three points are so hard to understand for some people.

Strange part about this is that the studies done on this subject shows that non-belivers have on average higher IQ´s then belivers.
