This ends the second 12 hr window.
The next 12 hr window starts at 10:10pm Aug. 2 to 10:10am Aug 3. for $20

Rule re-cap:
Predictions must include:
1) USA or Mexican Landfall (within 20 miles)
2) Date and time of landfall (within 3 hours EST)
3) Catagory (1-5) (at landfall)
To make it interesting I am willing to put $30 of my own money for the winner as follows:
Rules:
1) We start from the orginal posts time of 10:10pm Aug. 1.
2) Time incraments are every 12 hours.
3) All predictions in the first 12 hours are in for the original $30.
4) The $30 dollars goes down in $5 dollar incraments every 12 hours (ie. Posts made 10:10pm Aug. 1 to 10:10am Aug 2 is for $30------Posts made 10:10am Aug 2 to 10:10pm Aug 2 is for $25 ect. EST)
5) We go to down to $5 min
6) If no correct posts have been made up to the final 12 hours of the hurricane, the first correct post WITHIN the final 12 hours, will win.
7) You MUST have all above information predicted on SAME post to qualify.
8) ONLY the FIRST prediction by a poster during any 12 hour shift will be accepted.
[I will pay if landfall happens on more than one spot (ie. Key Largo and New Orleans) according to alotted 12 hr increaments]

There is a strong sign that 'Chris' is weakening but still taking a path slightly north of Cuba...

I predicted it would still be a tropical storm or a cat 1. It will strengthen once it hits the other side of florida. |
