In a so called democratic illusion, your vote was intended to offer you choices about the society you wish to be a part of. So far so good.
Here is what really happens.
To foster the illusion you have a choice, one or more or even several options seem to be available to you.
However, beyond the "feeling" you have choices... there really is none.
Ask yourself, has voting ever landed you into the situation you were "promised"? Or have all promises eveaporated as your "hero" took the reins? Or... if you landed on the losing side... did you notice the same thing happened to "them".
What your vote does do is PERPETRATE and PROLONG the illusion of choices.
That is about it.
VOTING keeps the illusion alive.

Quoting: 6decadesofit 125698I understand where you are coming from, but in not voting just further fuels them and keeps them in power by everyone not playing by their rules - you have to be voted in to become ruler. The solution is to vote for who we want and vote in real leaders who can look at how the voting has gone in the past and correct it for the future. They have all the lawyers on their side, we have the peole's will, the two do have to converge at sometime to bring forth a third and better way of living. Your thoughts?
