Rolling Brownouts and Blackouts in NE Ohio
Westlake Oh is experiencing rolling blackouts today. Avon Lake is having brownout problems. There is enough power for some things to run, but all of my UPSes are beeping. If I'm daring, my PCs will run directly from a surge protector, but there is no guarantee that the power won't kill it. I've had to move servers to our backup location.

I'll tell you one thing, natural gas/propane generators are on order.

Anyone else in NE Ohio having problems today?

Knock on wood, nothing so far in the NW corner of Portage County (Aurora). But damn, it sure is hot!

Hot is right! The AC at my office is only running at half capacity. One of the compressors needs to be replaced. The part is on order. We are lucky to keep it below 80 in here. I'm going to have to lighten up on the dress code for my employees until it is fixed.

I burned myself on the seat belt buckle today! So I've got that going for me.

P.S. PB, I didn't know you were local.

Yup, I'm a local. Grew up in Garfield Heights and have lived in Aurora since 1980.
