I would have thought that would come about only if Britain and Germany joined forces, so instead of Russia and Britain encircling the Germany + Allies (which was completed in Sept 1941 when Britain and Russia invaded Iran, that same manoeuvre would have been carried out by Britain and Germany.

So instead we would have had a fresh Germany force heading towards Iran through Russia and a fresh Britain force heading towards Iran through North Africa, once they joined up in the heartland they would effectively control the world Island (Europe/Asia/Africa) and by default he whole control the world island dictates the destiny of the world..

No, in this timeline the German danger is eminent, there are small changes since Hitler came to power 1933...British rearmament is far more aggressive, Americans are more wary of the Japanese, but this leads them to station more forces in the Pacific. Europe is under Empire domination, Germany has lost East Prussia but there is a cold war with Russia and Turkey and the Scandinavians. India is under direct threat by Japan.

Even though they were all Axis, Japan saw the weakness of its allies and decided to attack the USA after the Empire had weakened it, effectively giving it control of the Pacific but not enough to challenge the Empire outright west of Ceylon.

Like today, the British are planning a Voyage to the Moon led by none other than Arthur C Clarke.

Actually if the US had joined the Nazis they wouldn't have lost....not saying the US alone won the war but we brought a huge amount of strength to the fight that altered the balance.

If the US had joined Hitler and pearl harbor never happened we would all be speaking German right now.

I would say that is more true if Britain had joined the Nazis, as I am sure the US would have followed suit, otherwise, well that is a pretty big mess as you've have to invade Canada to secure your borders.. and then have to traverse the Atlantic sinking Royal Navy ships, and have to wipe Britain off the face of the map to ensure you had a clear route to Europe... As you really sure the US public would have been happy to do that as it would put the war on the US doorstep.

As for Pearl Harbor a lot of scholars might say the root cause of that was Americas insistence that Britain break off it's alliance with Japan in favour of America before it would sign any of the ages arms treaties, if you where to remove that stumbling block the Anglo-Japanese alliance would be back on the cards which would mean the US had to deal with 2 Island nations blocking it's path to Europe/Asia and making every thing a much bigger mess than it already was.
