Well, Brief, that's not exactly how it went down. Even though it was a "knock and announce" warrant, there was no knock, but rather a violent break-in by unknown intruders two days after the family had been burglarized. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 65977281 United States 12/14/2014 11:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Drug task force officer Chris Brewer, who obtained the warrant which resulted in the raid, lied to the judge about the circumstances and evidence which justified the warrant application. One of the seventeen police shell casings on the scene was found outside the house, at the egress. This shot presumably served as the the "announcement" of the raid. |

Well, I'm sure they must have shouted "POLICE!" after entering the home , yet the guy still pointed a gun at them. Seventeen shots were fired -- obviously they felt he posed a threat to them. This will case will go before the grand jury -- and I promise, they will not indict these officers for defending themselves. |

Hooks' gun was determined to have been UNLOADED. Furthermore, you're grasping at straws in your defense of law enforcement. There is evidence of wrongdoing on the part of Georgia law enforcement and yet you are "sure they must have shouted "POLICE!" ". What makes you so sure of that, Brief? What makes you think that a confidential informant (an employee of law enforcement) like Rodney Garrett couldn't or wouldn't frame you in a similar manner? What makes you think that police would not execute you in a similar fashion? |

How are you defending yourself by shooting me 17 times after YOU are breaking into my castle? |
