We have jails, we have death sentences, we have LEOS who need to focus on real issues vs. penny ante bullshit like some of the ridiculousness they spend time on, boiling down to harassing people who are actually trying, with good intentions, to do the right thing(s) in this world by striving to follow G-d's commandments / laws.

In any event doesn't seem relevant to this disaster.

Who is Ali? Obviously someone with money and power has positioned him or positioned a safe and friendly gas station in that place. Who needs safe and friendly gas stations so badly they buy them?

Ali isn't acting like anything but a likable young man who doesn't have to turn over his store camera records but goes to the trouble to edit relevant parts to share with a reporter.


I think law enforcement shared the detail about gasoline in the mouth. He posted it for the same reason anyone posts sad or distressing information. He was sad and shocked and needed to tell it to someone.

Gasoline in the mouth does indicate s "dont talk" message. Maybe LE used Ali to spread that message. Maybe it was Alis message. If it was his why was he sharing relevant parts of the tape with reporters? He's acting like he wants to help the investigation.

And there are some things which don't add up about blaming Ali Alsanai - I think that for one, under the circumstances - it makes perfect sense that he did not go to the police with his cctv and did not contact police - he knew there was no point - and in fact this would have potentially ended with the destruction of evidence by those police.

He did not destroy the tape - and in fact he showed it to an investigator.
