The two angels story.......lol

I set cemetery services which involves setting up a tent and placing a 3000 pound vault on the grave for the casket to go into which normally takes an hour and forty five minutes.

Today I had to go to a cemetery I had never been to and it was 2 and a half hours from home. When I left a co- worker noticed it was windy out which makes it hard to set a tent and with an unfamiliar cemetery there can be some hilly bad spots to try to manuever a 3000 pound vault on a little battery operated cart. So before I left the shop my co-worker said " don't worry God will send ya some angels to help ya set up." I chuckled and drove to my cemetery 2 and a half hours away.


When I arrived a 73 year old and an 83 year old greeted me and said they dug the grave and some caved off but it would be alright but gave me their phone number in case I needed them as they were going in town. I assured them I would be ok and thanked them.

Thirty minutes after those two left I brought the 3000 pound vault down some ramps off the work truck and soon after was stuck in a mud hole
My only choice was to call the 73 year old and the 83 year old. They came back used a tractor to push my vault out of the mud hole then proceded to help me pry my vault off the cart onto rollers getting it over the grave.

I informed them my co-worker said God would send me some angels to help set up my service today and said they must be the two angels he sent. They laughed and said "you didn't know angels were so ugly did ya."...bad day turned into a good story.
