GSPLAJ User ID: 51947935 Australia 02/10/2015 09:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | he turned green on the spot when told of gun death rates in US. he hasn't yet appeared in public since. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33635851 ten times more victims per capita than australia. America may have more gun related crime per capita but thats only because they have more guns. overall our crime rate is higher. the average low level criminal in Australia finds it a lot harder to obtain a firearm. instead opting for knives, baseball bats, and just general punch ups. we as a nation have way more fist fights and deaths by king hits per capita than the USA. every macho young thug knows the Australian people are a "Nation of Victims". something that just doesn't exist in america. Anonymous Coward User ID: 41756739 United States 02/23/2015 08:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There are so many irregularities on this supposedly genuine video footage, which was accepted as evidence against Martin Bryant in the Tasmanian court, that only a few of the more obvious will be included in this story to help drive the message home. The rest have been carefully collated, and it will give me considerable pleasure to detail each and every one of them personally before a properly convened Royal Commission. If a Royal Commission is not called to fully investigate the methodology used in the massacre, and if Martin Bryant is not called to give evidence, then the people of Australia had best get used to the fact that what little remains of our representative democracy died with the thirty five innocent civilians who were ruthlessly and needlessly murdered at Port Arthur on 28 April 1996. [link to www.whale.to] Australia was a fine fun loving country until one morning when an honest PM went for his daily swim and was murdered by one or two frog men. It has been downhill ever since. We in the USA had a similar event when the DC power structure murdered JFK. Give up your guns? To whom murderes? I think I found the problem down under....."Royal". The whole concept....it's time to have removed that from all the signs on doors, stationery, minds of the plebians....unarmed...and that close to Indonesia? WTF is/was wrong with you people? |

WTF is/was wrong with you people? i'm no fan of the royal family but we still need them. if only for one reason. the queen has the power to sack parliament. in America your forefathers put in place the right to bare arms. so that if the government ever looses its legitimacy than the people can sack the government. but we dont have that power in Australia. so if our government goes sour than the queen will have to step in. its not the most reliable but its better than nothing. i would still rather have the right to bare arms.
