Why do people act differently on the internet?

It is spooky, the internet person is probably the real one, the drunk internet person even "realer".

You will only reveal that in real life if you get very close to someone, work through the rows and arguments and stick together, then you may "see their arse" so to speak. Shortcut... get pissed with them a few times.

The internet gives us a safety window through which we may expose ourselves without consequence. and without spreading disease.

Of course in public most are reserved, for self preservation sake.
