TouchedByAnAngel User ID: 48936021 United States 12/19/2014 06:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am a woman, soon to be 50 years old. I have 6 tattoos. The first 4 were inked in my early 20s. They are small and hidden unless I want to show them. The last 2 tattoos I got inked in 2012. I spent a lot of time selecting the artwork. The tat artist nailed them and I'm very pleased! They are on my inner arms from elbow to wrist. They are in honor of Michael Jackson and I wanted them to show always. They make me smile and I got them for me to enjoy! I've noticed the tattoo hate threads on here, especially the last several months. I understand tattoos are not for everyone...but a deal breaker on a relationship? That's absurd in my book. My husband and the men I dated before marriage never had a problem with my tattoos. I've been a widow for the last 7 years and haven't dated. When I do decide to date, if the man has a problem with my tattoos, then he isn't for me. TouchedByAnAngel Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits, rebels, the trouble makers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They are not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them, because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 65619561 Am I the only one who finds tats disgusting? Whenever I see a woman with tats I pretty much just find a reason to go home then and there. Sorry, I don't want anyone with a tramp stamp - you've shown me that you've been programmed. I shoot high dollar weddings in Dallas, Texas $10,000 and up. The majority of the brides all have visible tattoos. So yes, it seems to not be a problem. |

You expect someone who is disgusted by tattoos to sidestep looks regarding a relationship? Are you serious? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 65619561 One time I heard a girl say "oh to remind me of an important even in my life" I just wanted to say "Well, if it's not important enough that you need a permanent skin mutilation to remember it then why bother..." Seriously, no logic at all. They look terrible. Lol |

Like an adult who still decorates their living room with posters. To each their own though. |

I haven't even looked at it for more than 10 years. I would hope that my worth would not be judged by something I thought was popular to do when I didn't know any better. And that rare skin disease? What about people who actually do have skin problems? Would you really throw out love because of something like that? There are very few people who are even close to perfect on the inside and outside. Honestly, I'm not looking to ever get married, so I don't really care to defend this for myself. I was just hoping to bring a different perspective and more understanding for others. |

By your own admission you don't even have to look at it. I'm suppose to be fine with looking at the same stupid picture during sex for the rest of my life. Most intimate thing in the world? Sorry, pass. As I posted earlier though, I do feel bad for you. I bet this thread is scaring the shit out of some single women out there. Fuck all opposition to the defend the gaudy fad. Wondering if that was the reason that great guy passed you by? Looks like it, he was just too polite to tell you. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 56773435 United Kingdom 12/19/2014 07:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tattoos are an interesting social phenomenen. They are, pretty much, a YES or NO choice. In that respect, they are as sinister as Hell. I find myself actively avoiding tattooed people on the street, (even more than non-white people with knives and guns) because I'm not tattooed, and never will be. |

Sex is not a very important thing to me, nor do I care so much about the way people look. The amount I love depends on who they were really are. Still, I understand where you're coming from and know why you would feel that way. I used to be the same way. Do not feel bad for me. No reason to. |

Good I hope it knocks some sense into others before they stupidly deface their bodies thinking 'it's cool' or 'I'm just expressing myself' or some other nonsense. Barring the slobs, anorexics and the morbidly obese, the best looking and most respectable women by far are the ones WITHOUT tattoos, piercings and fake breast implants. |

Tattoos give men another reason to avoid modern cunts who are trying to be men and take control. It's part of the invasion of male territory by women who just want to ruin and fuck up masculinity. Look at the National Femiroid League as a perfect example. Women are running around batshit crazy high on hypergamy, fast food, narcissistic celebricunt culture tv, and acting completely unfeminine, anti-family, and nobody draws the line or says the truth because of PC feminism and their golden vagina worshipping manginas. |
