‘I Can’t Breathe’ Federal Super PAC Formed To Honor Eric Garner

The “I Can’t Breathe PAC” swiftly received the Federal Election Commission’s approval this week after New Yorker and by the name of Tarik Mohamed filed paperwork registering the group. Mohamed, a visual communications strategist for Outfront Media was also a volunteer for Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign.
The super PAC was created to honor Eric Garner, whose death, while in New York police custody, resulted in national movement and protests.
Mohamed explained that he formed the super PAC in order to be allowed to raise and spend unlimited amounts of funds for or against a political candidate.
