TripleH is right, it has come to this because there are so few people in agriculture and each enterprise has to be profitable, but it is disgusting as hell. Glad I can still raise and eat my own beef, pork and chickens.

I bought a small horse farm this year, restoring it over the next 8 months and then will bring in a couple cows. The garden is great and produces more than enough for 6 of us.

But not everyone can do that. They are called useless eaters.

Nice! I started gardening again about 4 years ago, also planted lots of fruit trees and bushes. In anticipation of tough times ahead. Nature prepping. Have 8 producing apple trees now, and grew 5.5 gallons of raspberries, it is a lot of work but very rewarding. My potatoes this year are the best. We are still eating them and will for the next few months at least!

The Average Person Doesn't Cate About The Suffering Of Humans Much Less Animals. There Isn't Anything To Be Done Except Live Ones Own Life As Honorably As Possible.

How can anyone eat any meat or cheese or drink milk after watching the horror vids of cows, pigs & chickens.

I had a friend who asked me to assess a property he was planning on buying many years ago. It was a chicken farm which he hoped to eventually turn into a plant nursery. After walking through the still active chicken houses, I had to excuse myself and get out of there...::: it was hideous!!!!!
I made a decision then and there to never buy factory raised eggs again. The conditions were appalling!

Later we walked around the property and my friend was telling me of his vision for the property down the road. I asked him, " tell me what you see". This confused him and he asked what I was driving at. The sprayers they are talking about in the video had been spraying the toxic chicken shit over the adjacent land for years and I wanted him to see that there were NO weeds even on that land. It was so toxic that not even weeds could grow where the sprayers could reach. Totally anerobic much less toxic!
He had never even noticed.

It's time we demand more!
