LOOK AT THE MOON PHASES!

THERE WAS NO MOON THE LAST 3 DAYS!

I can see the clouds even though it's 7.00 pm, even though I can see that the moon is only 1/8th its size.

By the way, when I said a few nights ago that it was dark, I spoke too soon. By midnight everything was as bright as a full moon - even though there was no moon.

So, if it's dark, make sure to check again as late as possible.

Why is the sky all the sudden purple with pink dots?? Weird...

pretty sure this was around the same time as the New Moon as well but it was just about to pass behind the mountaiuns and I made a comment to the passenger in my car how weird the moon looked tonight. It was just a sliver of the moon but ridiculously bright and you could see the outline of the rest of the moon pretty well (was still dark though).. I thought it was pretty crazy. Seems when the moon is coming over the mountains, or horizon, and right before it goes down it always seems so much bigger than when its above.

And see how bright it is on the grass/ trees etc.

Still only 1/8 moon - should not be like this
